This website was set up by Rob Iles during the coronavirus pandemic in 2020 so he could continue his passion writing about sport while on furlough leave.
Rob is a fully-qualified sports journalist with an NCE for Sports Reporters qualification and has 12 years of experience. He has worked for Gloucestershire Live, part of Reach PLC, for the last five years, which has involved covering Gloucester Rugby for the last three years, and he has been Head of Sport for two years.
Rob was previously Sports Editor at the Gloucestershire Gazette and has also had worked published in The Non-League Paper, the BBC website and the News of the World when that was still in circulation. He has an interest in all sports and has covered rugby games at Twickenham, football at Wembley, cricket at Lord’s and racing at the Cheltenham Festival during his career.
